A few quick shots of the "new" one
Re: A few quick shots of the "new" one
Killer Mike! Love the blue. Wow, you are definitely a fanboy to have two Supermarines at one time.

Chris wanted to say nice strap, but, in this case, couldn't.CGSshorty wrote:I prefer the black one. The blue dial on this one just doesn't excite me.
I like it, congrats!

Love every iteration of the Supermarine. Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me how it wears compared to watches with similar dimensions? e.g. Compared to the MM300 or the like.
(I've yet to handle a Bremont, but love practically all of their offerings).

If I had Bremont tattooed on my dong Mike would be over everyday for a fix

Decisions decisions. That's a first world problem I'd like to have! Congrats!

It's a 43MM case by about 16MM thick if I remember, and almost 51MM L to L...I think
I thought it sat high on my wrist with the rubber strap...I never had the bracelet..
My previous IWC AT was 44 by 51 and I thought wore flatter on my 6.75" wrist...The IWC rubber strap fit me better...

Re: A few quick shots of the "new" one
From what I remember my now gone MM300 was about the same height but a little narrower east to west and the S500 is a little wider so the S500 sits better on my wrist - the MM300 seemed out of porportion height to width if that makes sense. Not by much, but compared to the S500 the difference can be felt and seen on my wrist

Never had a MM (something I need to correct...) but the SM fit me great (7.25" wrist).Dedalus wrote:Love every iteration of the Supermarine. Out of curiosity, can anyone tell me how it wears compared to watches with similar dimensions? e.g. Compared to the MM300 or the like.

About 51mm L2L as Mike says. Lugs curve down so it hugs the wrist nicely. Lots tech packed into that baby (hardened steel, shock resistance, anti-mag).
