It's between the MB III and the Terra Nova for me.

From what I understand, the Terra Nova is essentially the same size as the SM500, which wears really well on my wrist (same size as Barry's):

Thanks gents. I did not see that you had posted a response.

I'd love an MBII. Still loving my S500.

It is 43mm so they did not change the case size from the Supermarine 500. The phone is very close to my wrist to try and fight the bar lighting, so it does change the perspective. (my wrist is 6.5 inches) if you look at the case back pic, the lugs do slope downward and there was no lug over hang.

The Ti case material made this feel amazing. By the way this is an LE of 300. I don't recall the MSRP but I think Mike commented that it will be within hundreds of the Supermarine which is impressive considering the case material and GMT function.
I think it's $6k MSRP.

I'd like a Supermarine 2000, but I'm not sure i'd flip the Planet Ocean to get it. It's one or the other on my budget.

Yeah, the pricing holds me back. Especially for a young brand like Bremont.
+1

Would love an Alt-1C though.

Oh yeah, not a watch, but I think I'd like to get the S500 bracelet. Starting to really like the way those look.

:1: I've been thinking of putting it on. Still have it on rubber and I wouldn't mind trading it in on the new strap.

According to the Alt1tude forum the prices of the new lineup are as follows:

Boeing 1 $5,500
Boeing 247 $6,750
Terra Nova $6,750
MBIII $5,995

I'd be curious to know why some of you guys think these are too expensive; not stirring - it's an honest question.

Not cheap, but the quality is there in spades. If you can get past the fact that you're not buying a "name" brand, these watches deliver for the money, big time.

Probably this. Its a fairly new brand and the used market is still small. I briefly handled Eric's Supermarine and liked it. Now, why are they more expensive than say, a Sinn? Better base movement (soprod vs eta)? COSC cert? Currency exchange rate?!?

Based on the pictures, I'm digging the Boeing 1, and would love to check out an Alt1-C and compare it to a Speedmaster (My next big purchase will be a chrono).

Have you taken a look at prices for new Sinn's lately?

Well, I talked to Mike today and I' m pretty much committed to getting the Terra Nova (no, there's still no DWC 40% discount...). Now, all I need to do is figure out how I'm gonna pay for it.

It's about damn time that I owned a Bremont.

Yep, all Bremont offerings from Tourneau are more than 5k, whereas only three models from Sinn are more than 5k as per Watchbuys. The EZM-10 (most expensive Sinn on the webpage) costs less than an Alt-1 or a Supermarine on bracelet.

That's the one for me from the current lineup too, no question.

I'd like to see a S2000 in Ti but that would probably reach street prices of a Rolex and that's just not sitting well with me.
I do hope the resale will continue as low as it is now. I think S500 for 3K is a hell of a watch. But 6K when SubcND goes for $6500....

Probably none, already have P51 (Matt Wu) SM500 (Brice) and a U2,although could be tempted with the Norton version.

I just added the MBII. It's my first watch of caliber and I think I got a good one! Thanks to Joe C for turning me onto the Bremont!

I am a newbie to Bremont and the DWC, one question I have is...I want a rubber strap for it. Does anyone know if both the temple island and black rubber strap work for my MBII??

I am 99% sure the rubber from the SM will fit. Temple Island rubber definitely fits.
