Re: Bremont news
I like the possibilities of new materials being used from their association with Boeing
and very cool that they are swapping your strap out for you....was it as simple as just asking?

Re: Bremont news
Gotta love Bremont.
I must say the Q&D pic of the GMT on Instagram was kinda disappointing. Don't think the GMT hand suits the watch. Maybe I need to see a better shot.

Boeing?! Bremont?! ..Holy cow ! That's pretty neat Eric.
Will be something to see what they come up with. ..Haven't seen the new Supermarine yet by the way. Cool !
Cool how they're replacing your strap like that also. Appreciate all of the news sir.

They are without a doubt the most responsive watch company I've ever dealt with...

Re: Bremont news
Believe it it not, but Nick and Mike read this forum actively; however, after running into a bit of a rough patch on another forum a little while back, their policy – wisely, IMO – has been to leave the websites alone and concentrate on reaching out to their fans and clients personally.

Re: Bremont news
Agreed, but eventually it always winds up with the company owner/representative in a corner trying to defend their prices/business model/marketing/brand ambassadors on one hand, while doing one-on-one customer service on the other.ericf4 wrote:Would still like their participation..would be great

Yes, I firmly believe that we at DWC are an exception to that rule, however "once bitten"...

Re: Bremont news
I like it well enough. As previously stated, I think they could have done something a little more creative with the GMT hand, but seeing as I already like the SM500 and 2000, this one looks great.
Re: Bremont news
How would you have been more creative with the hand? I think the arrow "works" but I'm also not sure what the other options would be. Any guidance here?matt.wu wrote:I like it well enough. Re: Bremont news
I like it a lot. Great material too, I wonder if Bremont can do its hardening process on titanium too.
Re: Bremont news
As many Bremont nut-huggers as they're are on this site, I'm surprised we don't have a Bremont forum (myself included in said nut-hugger category) - love the idea if Ti on this one, but the GMT hand is too much of an afterthought on an otherwise perfect dive watch.

Re: Bremont news
I would do something a little more reminiscent of the point on the hour and minute hands, maybe. It'd simultaneously add a bit more cohesiveness as well as unique design.zepp21 wrote:How would you have been more creative with the hand? Seriously though, I think we don't need shitloads of sub forums.
