PADI turdle owners chime in.

Post by sierra11b » Tue Aug 11, 2020 5:07 pm

I know I’m late to the party but starting to get the itch.

Any reason not to give it a try?

None, unless you like a different version better. In my opinion, there are nicer blue Turdles.

Cool watch.

Another option with a blue dial that I like is the SRPD21

PADI projects, the dial is really nice, blue sunburst. I did not like the hands so replaced them with Tuna and Sumo.

It's the reason I sold my 009 so I really like the Pepsi look.

Plus it looks great on the Jubilee I bought from you, along with other options.ImageImageImageImage

Loved mine, my favorite NAFT by quite a bit. Shouldn't have sold it, but Andrea has it now and I hope he's enjoying it.

Mine was my first "real" watch, and honestly still my favorite. Runs well, looks great, versatile with a handful of Toxic straps and US bracelet. Love it

I'm thinking about getting a PADI and have seen quite a few on eBay. One says the country of manufacture is Hong Kong. Did Seiko ever manufacture watches there? I was there for R&R in 1967 and you could buy a knockoff of just about anything - a Rolex Submariner for about $100!

I have the SRP777 and the Save the Oceans blue dial, but the PADI is a cool looking watch.

I'm definitely a fan, with both the blue and the black dials.
