Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
Yep, looks very intriguing.
Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
I’m not sure I’d wear a red dial, but it’s nice to see the Shogun get some attention.

Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
Why does every limited model have a cyclops?
Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
I love my old Shogun, but I’m not certain the red/gilt combo works here. Then again, I’m not certain that red / gilt combo works anywhere.

Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
Wow, that’s hot! This is one of the best red dial/gilt combo I’ve ever seen.

They don’t. Zimbe models always seem to have one, though.Torrid wrote:Why does every limited model have a cyclops?

Not a fan of red dials, and definitely hate the cyclops, so that's a no for me.

Fuck that’s ugly.

I like the watch it’s based on. That’s the nicest I can say.

Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
I have a 6.75” wrist. Does anyone here have a shogun with similar wrist size? Please post.
Specs of Shogun from googling.
“Its case measures 44mm without the crown, has a lug to lug length of 50.75mm, a lug width of 22mm and sits 13.3mm tall.”

It would be nice to see this in the flesh. I wonder how this Shogun dial compares to my Oris RedBar red fume dial .

Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
Thinking about a regular one myself. The size specs does sound like it’s a large watch.Axelay2003 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 5:58 pmI have a 6.75” wrist. Does anyone here have a shogun with similar wrist size? Please post.

Its not at all. It wears super flat and smaller than specs. It wears like a 42mm ti watch. Super light and manageable.Torrid wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 6:21 pmThinking about a regular one myself. Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
The Shogun. You can't be the light weight of the Shogun. But it does wear flatter on the wrist and takes up more real-estate. The SBDC sits up on the wrist and has sides that angle in. So it has a smaller footprint. I hope that made senseTorrid wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:34 pmWhat wears better, this or the SBDC063?toxicavenger wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:24 pmIts not at all. Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
I’m guessing the flatter case would work better for NATOs. I just looked at my bracelet for my NAFT and I think I’m strictly no bracelet from now on for work. No dents but I can’t believe the scratches. Between the NATOs which can be cleaned up with heat and the ISOfrane which never shows any real wear they’re my best options. If I did get the 063 I’d pick up an old OEM MM300 strap too.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 8:41 pmThe Shogun. You can't be the light weight of the Shogun. Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
Shogun modded with sapphire crystal on my 6.75" wrist. Looking at this old pic I’m not really sure why I didn’t like the bezel insert. Oh well. New owner is enjoying it.

Re: Zimbe 11 Shogun
I do not know I personally like the SBDC better. And I wore it all the time on natos. I do not like the MM300 strap. The Uncle Seiko GL strap would be my choice.Torrid wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2019 9:02 pmI’m guessing the flatter case would work better for NATOs.
