Nice job, buddy! Just think. That’s yours, a 1 of 1. :)

Very nice. Really like the looks of it.

Did you find you needed to pick up any special tools to complete the transformation? Just curious.

I had my watchmaker do the work. $55cad is a no brainer. Buying a crystal press would cost me more which I don’t have.

Thx Carlo. I had my watchmaker do the work. I don’t have all the tools to do myself (crystal press being the main tool)

Nicely done. I will assume you matched the 2nd hand to a strap you already had?

That looks great. Not the strap, but the rest is stellar. :)

No got the strap when I did all the parts shopping also. I’m doing another one with orange seconds hand so I can rock it on an isofrane

Seiko mod #2 in the house !!

The difference here is the dial is OEM, all polished handset, blue AR on crystal, and a fluorescent orange seconds hand.

Super sporty look to this one. I’m over the moon yet again with the result.

I’m having a blue suede and orange suede strap made for it and for now put it on my navy blue Nick Mankey hook strap. Looks fantastic on it.

Whatcha think deedub?

Both are really nice, but I’m really digging the second iteration. It just looks super cohesive- everything works together.

Seiko would sell a ton of those if it were a stock offering.

Yet again another awesome watch creation. Thank you for sharing and hopefully this experience is a warm up for you so you can mock up many more custom time pieces. ;)

Modding Seikos is an affordable way to have loads of fun...

Blue version has a milgauss feel and I do love me some milgauss.

What's the base reference again?

EDIT: Nevermind I checked the OP.

Did you explain where you sourced the snap-on bezel? Would be interested in getting that part and relaying it to a pal who would love the orange hand version as a poor man milgauss project (he wouldn't be keen on your exact watch)

The bezel is the skx013 the pilot bezel silver mirror polished

Chapter ring is the mirror polished silver skx013 chapter ring

Both are from Lucius Atelier
