Few others of what's being called the MM200 in 42mm size.ImageImageImageImage
Man I really liked my 44mm MM200, I will certrainly get the 42mm model to try it out. For some reason I like the design of that watch better than the new 62MAS reissues (spb143).

I was just thinking, knowing that your model I had as well wears small for its spec 44mm, how small is this going to wear

Wow a lot of good stuff from Seiko.

I want a blue alpinist and a blue Willard.
So nice

42mm, and better (than the first mm200 models) handset ? Looks like a winner to me, especially if is doesn't wear as thick as the OG MM300.

Gonna have to get those hands and transplant them into my current prior gen MM200.

I'm sure I've said this before (probably in this thread), but I'm amazed that Seiko is able to put out and keep track of so many different models. Their operation has to be enormous.

This seems like the new best priced and non LE Seiko. A staple that people can readily get that is a classic size and Seiko design.

I had an MM200 and as much as people love the size and how it wears- I still wanted it shrunken down a bit. This new one seems to be the answer.

Here's a picture of the new, and down right hideous, Shogun........wart included.

Glad I have an older version.

WTF Seiko? All they had to do was give it sapphire and a proper 3 link bracelet and that watch would have been perfect.

Agree, that's why I ultimately sold mine. It wore great, but I wanted something a tad smaller. Hope this one works.

So sad. Those hands look like something Citizen uses. The Excalibur model.

I'm repeating myself, but they always almost get it right. :banghead:

It seems they’ve found the brushed chapter ring to resolve their prior alignment issues. Good move.

I like the silver dial, but those hands are awful.

Other than the silver dial the new Shogun has 3 strikes, so it's out. Ugly bezel on the brown, ugly hands, and hideous wart.

Hands are awful, as well the cyclops. But Ti and 42mm.... I might grab one and mod it.
