Can anyone do a compare/contrast between these two? Haven’t seen either in person and I’m curious what separates the two? I’m thinking one good midrange 6R Seiko diver would be a plus for me, but I can’t really decide. For what it’s worth, I’m a black dial bracelet kinda guy.
Thanks,
Henry

I have the SBDC063, and had the 051. One big difference is that the 061 and 063 have sunburst dials, whereas the others are matte. Both work okay on my smallish wrist, but the 051 will wear larger. You really can't go wrong with either. I only sold the 051 because the matte dial wasn't my thing.

I've been agonizing over these two as well. Have you seen this comparison video?
I have an 051 collecting dust in my watch box if you want to try it Henry...... Keep meaning to sell it as I don't wear it, but love the design.... My Tuna ends up being my mid range grab and go weekend beater much of the time though... mainly due to quartz.

Nick,
I really appreciate the offer, but I’m still on back side of the world. Won’t be back in the US until early August. Shipping stuff here is silly expensive, unreliable, and the Customs guys are unreasonable.

I've seen/read a couple of reviews and apparently the 061/063 wears better for people with small wrists. I like both and also really want to try them. The blue bezel insert on both models is spectacular.
The Topper version of the 061 is the one to have, but maybe I’m biased. I think the 061 style is more like a thinner MM300 and I didn’t care for the way the 051 style wore on me.
