GS 9F in the flesh

Post by toxicavenger » Thu Apr 25, 2019 8:24 pm

I was at my watchmakers today and was talking about how cool the 9f movement looked in pics. So I decided to have him open up my dirty ass sbgx117.

Love it. About to end up on a quartz kick again. My NAFT is insanely accurate after some tweaking, but I really want a 9f.

I am on a huge quartz kick lately. I think I have 6 quartz watches now. Most of them are Scurfa's of course.

Yeah it is stunning in person. When you move the watch around in different lighting the movement pretty much sparkles.

Looks as cool as they say it does. Thanks for sharing T
Totally. And you never know these days if pics are overly photoshopped or just stock pics. So that is why I decided to check it out first hand.

While I have been thinking of a 9f I think I might do another Tuna first.

After having the UX hydro I really got into the idea of special quartz watches and regularly think about an SBGX, like T’s, and an Aerospace.

Nothing wrong with a high end quartz imo. I especially loved the white dial version you had.

I really want a HAQ perpetual calendar GS. I wish they'd offer a Day Date knockoff with that movement in the dressy 37mm case with the bracelet from the nicer models.

Nor is the 7548. Mine gains about a second per month. Not bad for non-HAQ.
