The thickness looks just fine. I have plenty of watches that thick. That goofy crown is the deal breaker.
Yep, it’s the crown that kills it for me as well.

It is sexy, but I’m not sure it’s $6000 sexy.
oh it definitely is not. maybe 1500 sexy.

Seiko makes big, chunky dive watches. It's their thing. It's also one of the reasons why none of them ever seems to stick with me, but I can see why others dig them. The crowns on these latest releases do look ridiculous.

I actually like the white GMT aesthetically (maybe one less primary color). I'd never wear it on the white strap that comes with it, though.

So you guys are ok with this?
I can’t take this kind of thickness from a $500 watch, much less from a $6000 piece.

It’s completely ridiculous.
Love the design, but that shot kills it for me. Chunkiness is Seiko's thing when it comes to high end divers though. Omega isn't much different.

I would much rather have a Pelagos.

^^^^ I love everything about this new SD MM300. And the proportions are what really make it work for me. I like chunky (in watches that is).

Any idea when they will be available?

I may have missed it, but what are they asking for the Tunas? I recently tried on one of the lower case solar models at the Navy exchange and it was quite comfy. They only had a grey one, which I didn’t like, and the quartz killed it for me.. I could see getting a black/auto.

I would also love to have an auto one on the current size... But as it is I have two solar tunas right now. Super comfy, nice grab and go.

I’d rock that gmt and purple one.
It's a beautiful world! Gerald.
