Agreed. Too expensive. It’ll still sell out.

I like it.

I am sure it will be well done.

Love it

It’s my favorite rerelease so far.
Though Seiko should have matched the flo orange on the second hand.

Pricing is steep on this one. I would have to sell my MM300 & SD MM600 to pay for it. I’m not sure if I’m ready for that.

Stupid price on a watch that cost them as much as a MM300 to make.

different market these days. seems like they are trying to pull in some of the rolex market.

Agreed. Still crazy asking price for what it is.

No bracelet, No GS movement. Just 2 quick things that make this one nowhere near worth its asking price IMO

However, yes, it’ll still sell out

Interesting to see what the “downscale” version will look like.

Oh I totally agree with you.

But those are not items that the people in that market cares about. Hell I bet it sells out asap.

Maybe we will luck out, and it will look like the slim case version.

Unfortunately, the regular production versions seem to always be inflated, rather than deflated.

I’m with Shorty. My “want” meter just doesn’t get to $4,500. This is also from a guy who really likes Seiko divers, owning a MM300 and an SLA017.

I also find it kind of ironic that Seiko is re-releasing what once was an affordable dive watch now as a luxury watch. They seem to be taking a page from the Rolex / Tudor playbook.

someone should buy one ---- (consider the BLUE ALPINIST).... if the trend repeats it will be a $6000 watch when they sell out.
