What is old, is new again. I would have liked it better if they upped it to 37.

Wonder if this would be a good first watch for my son?

I think I’ll pick up two for my two boys.

If you don't want to wait, the Timex Weekender is a good watch for the "developing watch enthusiast." Like this Seiko, it comes on a NATO style strap and Timex sells additional colors separately, so it's a good way to start feeding the strap hobby, too.

35mm is just a little too small for me. Would be better at 36-38 IMHO.

I would rock the hell out of this at 38

I think they'd like that they were wearing the same brand that I wear most often.

Looks a lot like the SEIKO SUS 4S15 “MILITARY” from the mid '90s.

Looks cool, I might snatch one for my kid.

Andrea, did you try the Hamilton Khaki Field Vintage?

That's cool. I didn't know there was a micro in Manchester, VT.

A tiny watch with a fat bezel is going to be weird in real life.

I got to try one of these on a few weeks ago. All I can say is "yawn"

Never seen the MWW Rattler in person, but I like how it looks in the photos. Seems like it's an improvement over the SUS it pays homage to (with the exception of the movement - the 4S15 is a higher-grade movement).

In person it looks unfinished and crude. Maybe that is how the original ones is in person. If so that is a no-go for me.

They certainly could be shorter... but I still like it. I tried a 35mm Seamaster and it was too small for me.
