Grand Seiko SBGX117
I picked up the black version not to long ago. I still like this watch. A little heavy for a quartz movement but I like wearing it. I thought about getting the polished bezel blasted it but I was told there is to much room for error. I think it would be a dope mod.
Now i am wearing it on a Uncle Seiko GL rubber strap.

I modded a Z199 from Uncle Seiko for it also.

Solid Seiko!
Re: Grand Seiko SBGX117
While I prefer the 115, you can’t go wrong with either

Great looking Seiko, T. Love those hands.
Re: Grand Seiko SBGX117
Didn’t you also own the silver/white dial at one point? Always liked these.

Haha, I like your subtle hint at underwear elastic

Hahaha I am broke. Send me a money order
Thanks bro
Thanks, I am liking it. I wonder how long i will keep this one???
I am in deep on this one. They are not as easy to find since they sold out almost 5 years ago.
Thanks Matt. I put shoulderless lug bars on it also.
Once you go black..................................
Thanks bro-ski
Thanks Dave.
Thanks Brian. Honestly the hands is what made me buy it again.
Thanks Andrea. I am trying to keep up with you.
Yes. I liked it quite a bit. These are big watches for a 42mm. And they not light. Here is the white/silver dial one I had.

Loved the white one you had and this is just as sweet. Did you get this from Mark (Roadking)? Knew he recently sold one.

I should've never sold you mine. It is unfortunate that these were discontinued.

Is this the sort of reasonably sized quartz GS diver? Has it really been five years since they released that?toxicavenger wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 2:04 pmThey are not as easy to find since they sold out almost 5 years ago.

Re: Grand Seiko SBGX117
I ordered mine in December 2014, shortly after it was released. I bought a SBDX012 at the same time. Holy shit the prices of those have gone bonkers. Should've kept that one too...JP Chestnut wrote: ↑Wed Feb 20, 2019 6:49 pmIs this the sort of reasonably sized quartz GS diver?
