That looks awesome. I see $750 on the used market after you ballers (looking at you, Brice) buy new and flip to me
I like the fact that the black isn’t blingy. Not a fan of black coatings that are shiny like all those ‘gunmetal’ finishes...

I would buy this shit if i had some cash. I would say out of the newer Seiko's the SBDC has been one of my favorite.

if he labeled it as zimbre is would be double the cost.

Was at the packed Topper launch event on Saturday for the launch of this thing:
Pretty damned neat. The SPB077 has been my favorite new Seiko diver of the last few years (Sumo was too wide, Turtle too tall, Transocean too much bracelet integration, etc.), and it's nice to see a well-priced all-black option for the USA after missing out on the Australia-only ninja turtle last year. Slight price premium over the blue-dialed strap version, but not too bad. 44mm case if you haven't worn one, but I'll be damned if it doesn't wear extremely close in size and comfort to my 42mm 2500 Planet Ocean. Very nicely executed.

I like it a lot. I don't know if I can put that kind of cash into it but it is a hot watch. A lot nice than the hodonkee shit.

^ this. While I prefer Terry’s GS handset mod, this LE doesn’t look terrible with the stock hands

Matt, good question – the bezel didn't actually work at all in the prototype, didn't have a click spring
In terms of finish though, I think it works really well. The side of the case has a contrasting brushed/polished finish that looks really badass in black. Bezel kinda hides a little bit into the polished upper portion of the case, because it has the same finish, but it's contrasted by the insert itself.
