Speaking of that...

Referred to as the "Topper Ninja" in Worn And Wound article below, maybe the name will stick.

I like them.
Same, they work well for me. And the black overhangs don't bother me on a black dial.

I've just tried on the regular version in Singapore, I was amazed by how well they wear. It may be 44mm but it wears a small 42mm because of the thin case.
Two reasons why I didn't cave:
1- LTL is too long at 50mm
2- 6r15 seiko used to be in the mid-400$ range on bracelet up until two years ago, I would have paid $550 or so, not the $900 it commends.

Did you try it on bracelet or rubber?

Do you have any wrist shots? Curious how it looks on a smaller wrist. I am highly interested in these as well but am concerned about the L2L.

Thinking hard about this. If it had a high domed sapphire it would have already been done.

Picture below is from a Worn And Wound article.

I think the strap has a Pre-V buckle.

If so, I might want to swap it out for a thumbnail buckle, hopefully Seiko.

Anyone have a good source for a buckle in a similar finish?

I think it’s just one of these in PVD/DLC.

Topper mentioned something about having a custom buckle done for this watch. I don’t recall seeing any photos or renderings, though.

I like the hands on this a lot better than I did on the Tuna.

So anybody heard from Topper as far as a ship date? Unless I've missed something it's been the sound of crickets from them.

Well it does say mid to late July, so it’s not like they are past their initial shipping date.

I checked in with them a few weeks ago. They said they were still on track for July. I’m not worried about it.

I wasn't worried, just surprised there have been no tantalizing updates. Leaving for Florida on August 3rd and was hoping to have in my hands before then.

I didn’t get an invoice. Maybe they’re not all ready for delivery, or they’re delivering them in small batches to make things manageable.
