I love this one. I just wish Seiko would properly integrate their end link designs. They always look a bit unfinished, but maybe that's just because I'm back in a strap phase again so this ends up being the first thing I noticed. There's just very few Seikos that have clean transitions from case to end link, though the MM300 is one of the worst at it.
I can definitely tell even from pictures that this bracelet is very nicely made.

the 62mas look case even at a quick glance looks like the nicest one here. The sharper finished edges look even nicer than the MM300 in these pictures. Obviously it takes a lot to beat the dial and hands of the MM300 though.Selym wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 7:54 amTurdle/PM62MAS/MM 3-Waytoxicavenger wrote: ↑Tue Dec 04, 2018 7:30 amIf someone loans me a 62mas style diver I will do a 3-way!!!

It's hard to tell from my shit photos, but I'd say the case finishing on the PM62MAS is almost as good as that of the MM. For a $700-800 watch, the PM62MAS is punching above its weight.

I like mine, It does sit tall, but I strangely find it more comfortable than the previous iterations of the model.
I think the upgrades improve the watch a lot

Proportions look good to me, the bezel looks a little thicker too. I also like the ceramic bezel insert. But IMO that gold seconds hand looks out of place. It looks like someone modded it.
Re: New MM300 (SLA021/SBDX023)
The gold hand matches the 300M script, and actually assists in visibility, but I recognise that some may not like it.

That gold seconds hand is my favorite part.

I should have never sold my SBDX012.

I prefer my OG MM300 to the new one, but these SBDC models are something I'd like to see in person. The thinner case appeals to me.
I'd need to see one and then the problem is one of the best things about the SBDX001 and all MM300 variants there the brushed and polished bits of the hands. By far one of the best hand sets seiko has ever done which gave it unreal depth. Like most, I was flipping SBDX001s at just over a $1K which is a hard pill to swallow now.
I really move the dimensions of the MM200 but the hands are a deal breaker and I wouldn't feel too comfortable adding MM300 hands to an $800 watch, even though I've seen photos and they look great. PLUS I'd need to get over my personal bias for the 6R15 which means it'll never be in the cards. It's a bit frustrating to be honest. The days of perceived value Seiko are long gone outside of the Turdle (which I currently wear on MM300 clasp)
Anyone want to swap my patina modded NAFT for a black MM200 for a week? I'd put it on a jubilee with MM300 clasp.
