Just purchased one (3rd owner). What is your experience with the battery life? Any concerns with the watch? Is the battery easy to replace or will Seiko have to service? Any input would be appreciated.

Battery changes on Seiko Kinetics are typically required every six months. They need to be sent to Seiko in Japan, there's only one technician who can work on them. He's at the Nu-gi Service Center and his name Nubi Nointro.

Well, I have a Seiko kinetic that I bought new around 1995 or so. Still works like a champ and never have needed to change the capacitor. Guess my watch could be different than yours.
