7548-700F Comes Home

Post by seiko_shepherd » Fri Sep 07, 2018 9:04 pm

Another classic made its way into my collection yesterday. A near mint 7548-700F. Born in 1981.

One minor scratch on caseback/side of case is all that really stands out. Came from a trusted source. Everything does what it should.

Additionally, was able to source an original unsized Z199 bracelet making it 100% period correct.

Truly blessed to check yet another one off the list.

On to the next hunt.

Cheers!

Nope. That one looks about the same, but has a smaller case.

Great catch. Is this the one with the semi-HAQ movement and perpetual calendar?
That one came out in the 2000's and is a 38mm case. It is more of a updated SKX007. Everything feels better on it. But used they go for about 450-700.

Congrats on the Pepsi 7548, I have owned a few of them.

The hands on this one looks newer for some reason.

Either way dope piece.

Thanks Toxic.

Yeah I thought the Lume on the indices vs. hands was a bit mismatched (in photos) but, once I got it home, seems to be on the money.

I know who I got it from. Know it’s history, so no mysteries.

I just looked at mine and it looks the same. Pics do tend to overstate things.

Congrats on it also. :salute:
