I don’t know why people are down on the end link fit, it doesn’t look that bad. Overall not bad looking but not a replacement for the MM300.

As point out the smaller bezel with a larger dial makes the watch seem to wear larger. Not for me.

That’s the thing with Seiko. All you can hope for is not that bad with bracelet end link fit in most cases.

Is it just me or is the chapter ring off on the first one?

Forgot to mention, the fours lines of text on the MM300 appeals to me. The lack of it indicates a cheaper offering

Keep in mind this was probably a non-working prototype. Time is the same on every picture. I'm betting end link fit will be tight when released. Personally I thought the Turdles was too tight.

I would bet money that these share a bezel insert with the 053/051 twins. This is 44mm, but the extra 2mm is likely all in the case bulge. Hands, chapter ring and bracelet are obviously shared and I would guess the dials are interchangeable based on the near identical date window.

SPB083J1* Great Blue Hole Special Edition

That's the official name.

Think you meant the 061/063 twins? Don't believe the bezel inserts are the same size for these.

I like these new models more than the MM300 personally. They should have used the MM300 rubber on the blue bezel though. That’s what I’d use when not using NATOs, but it definitely belongs on a NATO.
