There's one on analogue shift for 9.5k. You can blame them for hiking up the price.

I love Seikos, but I can think of 1,000 other watches I'd take over something like this.

I've been following this one, since it was initially listed a week or two ago. Seems there are many questions/concerns about it and the seller.

we have one almost that nice in for service. I have to say getting a crown gasket for this watch has been a mtf'er to say the least

i've owned 2: both needed work and finding replacement movement and case parts was just crazy, even with japanese help to search repair shops there. after a few years i gave up and sold them.

Repairability is an overlooked part of ownership. Who cares how cool a watch is, if it's impossible to keep in running shape?

It's a big deal for me. Makes micro and vintage ownership hard to justify.

As I hear more and more bs about 4 digit Rolex parts availability, it makes me super reluctant to get into it. At least the transitional models still use modernish movement parts, but the non-quick set stuff? No way.
