Z199 BRACELET FOR SKX and 6309/SRP Divers Intro Price!
ONE-WEEK INTRODUCTORY PRICE---Z199 BRACELET FOR SKX and 6309/SRP Divers from uncleseiko for $59.
It tapers from 22mm to 16mm and has 6 removable links (screws like the original). The bracelet is the same for both versions, so if you want you can order an additional set of end-links for the pair your bracelet didn't come with. You can find that under End-links and Spring Bars. As always, each bracelet comes with a pair of 2.5mm "fat boy" spring bars.

If this a solid end links version. I like the taper to 16mm.

Good question, I will ask him.

I think it is because the end links don't have the link pattern molded in. Harold's version has this, which I think is more traditional and looks a bit better.

I think this is backwards, the stock one I had years ago had no pattern in the endlinks.

Not feeling this...looks unfinished.
Re: Z199 BRACELET FOR SKX and 6309/SRP Divers Intro Price!
I just looked at a couple SKX photos from Island Watch. The stock Seiko jubilee bracelet for the SKX does have bracelet pattern engraved on the end links.toxicavenger wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 6:46 amI think this is backwards, the stock one I had years ago had no pattern in the endlinks.
Re: Z199 BRACELET FOR SKX and 6309/SRP Divers Intro Price!
Correct. The Z199, of which Uncle Seiko's bracelet is a replica, did not have the pattern stamped into the end links. The modern Seiko "Jubilee" does have the pattern stamped into the end links. Also, the modern "Jubilee" tapers to 18 mm at the clasp, vs 16 mm for the Z199.
Re: Z199 BRACELET FOR SKX and 6309/SRP Divers Intro Price!
OK - this makes sense. It also helps me understand why I think this bracelet looks good on the SRP / cushion case style, but not so hot on the SKX.Selym wrote: ↑Wed Dec 20, 2017 7:32 amCorrect. I think the SKX has more end link space / lug space, so the lack of detail on the end link is a bit bland. On the SRP case, the end link has less width and the case itself is less polished, so the plain end link design is more cohesive with the case.

Has anyone bought one? I need a bracelet for my NAFTs and 6309, but not sure if I want one of these, a BOR, or a Super Oyster. Or perhaps go with a Strap Code super jubilee, although I don't hear great things about the fit and finish on those, and I'd prefer to give my money to Uncle Seiko.

I just ordered the Angus Jubilee for one of my NAFTs. I’ll post some pictures when it arrives.

Cool. Can't find the Angus for sale right now. I guess it might not yet be released. Interested to hear your thoughts in it. I bet it's a beast.CGSshorty wrote:I just ordered the Angus Jubilee for one of my NAFTs. I’ll post some pictures when it arrives.

I will get some pics taken tomorrow. The bracelet wears just like the oem version, so it isn't overkill at all.
