That's very nice. If I needed a dress watch that would be on the list.

I’ve saw some of the shots that have been taken of this one. The dial is amazing.

That’s really hot. I’d love one. 1100$ seems high though for a 6r15 Watch

Also some find the 6r15 behaves erratically.
Other seikos sell for much less with mvt, that said I do love it. I want one.

The 6R15 is indeed a finicky beast with a mind of its own. I've have one that is extremely accurate, but the other 3 I've had were crap. I've had much better accuracy with the 7S26's I have.

While I agree that the 6R15 is long in the tooth, I've always had good luck with it. Back in the day that 50 hour power reserve was really nice when everyone else only had 38-40.
It's not like Seiko is lacking in alternatives either. It's got the 6R2X range to draw from (drop a few complications and reduce it down to a three hander), the 4S36 (not to be confused with the 4R) and the 8L35, already designed, ready for action.

Pretty much mirrors my experience. Unfortunately now that I have a couple more ETAs now I’m seeing a much more consistently capable movement in general. Low wind 6R15s fall off much faster accuracy wise than my 2824s. The 8L35 did that to me too. The 2824s seem to very slightly gain more at this point. Seikos seem to lose time drastically in most cases once they sit for 24 hours in my experience.

I'll say so far my MM300 is very consistent wearing it or stored dial up.Torrid wrote:Pretty much mirrors my experience. I’d be in even with the 6r15 at 600-700.
Can’t do 1000-1100$
