Something is off.
If it's gold, and not plated, $525 is pretty cheap even at 10 karat.
If it's plated, meh. It will not age well.
If it's capped, meh also.
Don't know what else it could be...

I’m sure it is just a gold colored DLC. No more expensive than the black or grey coating.

The Golden Tuna is coated in titanium nitride, which makes for an extremely durable finish. They coat machine tooling with that stuff.
