Need a Seiko tech
Need a Seiko tech
Hey guys,
So- I have a quartz Seiko Chrono that has some condensation inside of the crystal. Want to send it to someone to be cleaned, and re-sealed.
Recommendations?
Thanks.
RJ

Re: Need a Seiko tech
I could do a cleaning of the case, and a replacement and greasing of gaskets.
Hopefully the movement hasn't seen too much moisture, but I can check it out. Not a Seiko tech by any stretch, just a hobby. If you want the real deal, hit up Spencer Klein.

RJ, if you want me to ask Sarraff's (our watchmaker here in Miami), they have a Seiko account and are a good alternative to sending into the Seiko Service Center. They've been solid for me, Ralph, and other guys we've referred, especially with overhauling my vintage Seikos. PM me and I can connect you.

PM sent. Thank you. Mine is likely a simple issue.

Ah, too late. I would have attempted a repair for you! I typically only need an awl, hammer and beer... maybe next time?

You're in good hands, RJ

Thanks fellas. Just need some simple work done, and might see if he can toss a cyclops crystal on it. Love this piece, but want it to be right.
