Price seems a little steep. Is this LE?

Amazon indicates a 10% discount will be applied to that price up until November 12th. No need to rush and place an order as far as I'm concerned, and there is no mention yet of this being an LE.

This is what they were going after. Original was titanium and awesome hands. I should have kept the second one i bought instead of selling both.

48mm lug to lug makes this very wearable for many.

I’m ordering...

I’m still pissed they changed the hands. I want an old version in Titanium. I’d be willing to trade a white dial old version and add $, unless new version is available in Ti for reasonable cost of course.

Ti would have been nice but the hands I don't love either set but doable on the new one

Call me crazy but I love the Monster style hands. It’s actually the only thing I like about the Monster. The high polished versions look great and I think the new orange looks great with black hands.

Very cool!
However I’ll wait until they’re available overseas...$150 less

I really like this one and I never had a problem with these hands.

Kinda wish that they applies the Clous de Paris embossing to the dial.

I like the hands, too. I’m glad they left the dial smooth. I don’t think that would have worked as well on orange.

Exact same handset from the Gen 1 OM, so they don't bother me. Shogun uses the same hour and minute hand as well, like what's been put on the other Samurai models. Obviously Seiko likes them a lot.

Just got this one. It wears smaller than the NAFT, which is great for me.

That’s my favorite PADI. The wave dial looks great.

Man that is fantastic!

Might need to find the reference for this and wait. But after your last post on the textured Orange dial I agree with you on it not being textured, and as an avid Giants fan, that color appeals to me in more ways than being a classic diver color.

My dilemma with PADI on the dial is a bit strange... I'd proudly wear a vintage Scubapro Seiko or COMEX (who wouldn't refuse that?), but feel a bit strange as a non scuba guy. I've never considered the JLC Navy SEALs just because I never rated a Trident, but did serve in a SOC unit amongst many bubble wearing dudes, but my capacity in the unit was as equally specialized but in a different area.

I don't know how else to justify my stance other than the PADI symbol sucks and it's too commercialized.

Starting to see real world pics of the Orange Samurai show up on WUS. While I love the Orange dial, the off colored orange portion on the bezel ruins it for me, at least judging by the pictures I've seen so far.

I like it, but I think my orange NAFT turned out better. I’m glad I canceled my order, especially at that price.

That’s fantastic. The dial texture reminds me of the Omega Seamster.

Yours did turn out nice, and agree they were a bit pricey.

I agree, your custom build is sweet. I like the new style Samurai and the NAFT. After owning both for awhile I prefer the NAFT and an orange NAFT would likely make me want to buy. The Samurai is a keeper for sure but the design and size of the NAFT is damn near perfect.

This reminds me I need to sell my orange Sumo now.
