New to me Crafter Blue for my SKX Pepsi.

Post by 59yukon01 » Mon Apr 17, 2017 4:19 pm

Just got my Navy Blue rubber from Crafter Blue today. First off I can't believe it was designed to NOT take the fat spring bars. Luckily I had some slim fatties. Fit isn't quite as good as the one for the Sumo imo (small gap at case), but works fine. Tapers to 20mm at the buckle. Extremely comfortable, soft, and flexible just like the one I have for my Blumo. Overall will be nice for beach and pool this summer.

 I'm always on the lookout for decent fitted / curved end rubber straps. I'm wondering if this might fit on my KonTiki.....

That's a great look. I hope they do one for the NAFT.

They didn't make it to fit the OEM bars? That's surprising since the MM300 strap was designed to fit them.

That was an unexpected surprise to me as well. The one I have for the Sumo did, so assumed it would be a no brainer for the SKX. No way to squeeze them in either.

That looks nice, but it is bizarre that it doesn't take fat bars.

Looks good, weird about the spring bars. They need to make a tang version for the MM300.

They do then it would be perfect.

I ordered the SKX strap also. I have to say these dudes take forever on shipping. I have since sold the watch it was for. :banghead:

^^^Pre-ordered on Feb 20th, with knowing they were supposed to ship end of March. I got tracking # April 5th, and got the strap on the 17th.

Same here.

Pretty disappointed that they didn't make it fit Fatties. That is crazy as hell. That is one of the main things that I love about Seiko.

Duh!! Did a double check on the package and found the correct thinner spring bars were included. Still weird it wasn't made for fatties though.

I just got mine in today. It isn't as soft as I had hoped but it is a nice strap.

I wonder if it curves down enough a the lugs for smaller wrist or if it will bow out like the fitted Omega rubber straps did when I tried them. wrist shots from a google search show that the Sumo and MM300 models would work.

Curves down at the wrist, so I didn't think it stuck out and my wrist is 7".

Did you order black? Read a lot of shipping issues with that color.

So I resold the strap since I didn't have a SKX on and the strap they sent me is actually for a Sumo. So I pre-ordered and waited on a damn Sumo strap!!!

Sold mine to Eric. Decided on the SKX I prefer the Z22 or a Nato.

Boy now ain't that the pits!!!! Where are these fellas from Singapore? I guess if they are shipping from overseas it might explain some slower times, but on the other hand I have got stuff from Seiya San, and Chino those guys don't mess around at all.
