Any one here knows the differences if SLA017 vs SBDX019 are for different market?

Damn. Drilled lugs, Diashield and sapphire. I am warming to this. Prefer it a little smaller, but size is probably doable.

SLA designation seems to be used for some of their special LE models. SBDX designations seem to be standard issue models. Perhaps this indicates that there will be a non LE version of this watch?

For instance, this is the SLA015

And the SBDX0171

^^^I like that. But it is weird how the drilled lugs are under the case. It must have some serious curve to the top of it.

These really look great. Maybe they'll make an orange one.

AZFINETIME appears to have preorder open for blue, but not black.

They appear to be putting a legitimately nice bracelet on one of their sub $1k divers! Not the typical faux 3-linkers like on the Sumo/Shogun.

That was my first thought as well. The SBBN015 had probably the nicest non-GS bracelet that I have experienced on a Seiko. That and Sapphire shows that Seiko may be upping their game on these mid-level divers.

So true. Thank goodness they made metallic green first.
