The horrible strapcode thing. I think they're going to try to fix the butt ugly end links.

Well. Fuck me running. Two different spring bars thicknesses.

The jeweler I used to size this bracelet is becoming a cascadingly larger mistake...

That's a prime example as to why I trust no one with my bracelets. If it gets screwed up, at least I did it.

That's an easy fix though, obviously.

Terry does offer a running fuck option, but you'll need to contact him directly for details.

I'm told to inquire about the "running fuck" option? Can you bundle that with those Springbars I just ordered plz?

$10 watch repair kit from the bay will save you much time, money, and headache by doing them yourself. Too many jewellers don't know shit about sizing pin & collar bracelets, but I guess you see that already.

The solution is to take it off that mediocre bracelet and wear it on the awesome MM300 rubber strap.

See, I'm the exact opposite. I don't mind the bracelet since I can get a good fit, but the strap is way too long and feels a bit like plastic to me.

You're right though, the quality of the case and everything else deserves a slightly nicer bracelet.

That's because it is plastic (polyurethane).

I've got one of these and for the price it's soft and flexible, and I've read more so than the original. He's out of stock at the moment though.

My SBDX001 has a bit of play at the end links that allows a small gap, but it's nothing like that.

So... since Terry's springbars won't arrive till I'm out of town I overnight a pair from Amazon... They will NOT fit.

Image

The SBDX017 takes 20mm spring bars right? Am I crazy? The top is what I took out of my watch, the bottom is what I took out of my watch, at this point I have no idea if they're the original SB's... the top is what came from the dealer on amazon and they will NOT fit.

Image

These are from the dealer, they won't compress enough to fit into the lugs.

Am I loosing my mind here? Are the originals correct? WILL 20MM SB's FIT?! Wtf...

So the originals ARE 20mm? Do you measure total length, or just the center solid piece?

Should just measure fixed portion, I agree that they sent you 22. 20mm Seiko Fat springbars are the correct bars.

The 20mm bars I use (like Terry sells) are just a pubic hair shy of 20mm at the body, but the tips compress fully into them for installation.
