Seiko design sucks ass. Cheaper doesn't necessarily imply bigger and uglier.

Those hands those hands. Do not like the hands. Not a good combo old with new. It's like putting neon under a 65 mustang.

"Ok guys, we have here an old school design that everybody seems to love, what should we do?"

"Let's make a reedition, but has to be LE and very expensive!"

"Wait! We could probably make more money if we also offered an affordable version with a cheaper movement."

"That's a great idea! Let's make sure we fuck it up by making it gigantic and swap out the hands for something terrible"

"YAY!"

I'm glad I got in on the LE, this other version doesn't look good to me.

What does MAS stands for? Unlike Tuna her case is not special.

Seems like this topic died out. I guess there's no other "leaks". Seems like a game movie studios are playing now. Show a quick shot of the crew. Show a sneak peak of the props used in the movie.

I think it's going to be officially introduced at Basel and then we'll see more info and pics.

Hell, I think it looks pretty good.

It looks like it has the new tuna hands which have grown on me. I bet it looks much better in real life - the seiko catalog pictures are always terrible.

What is the price point supposed to be on this one? In between a sumo and a mm300?

Correct-

Maybe if I'm the only person that likes it - they'll be $200 on ebay within a few weeks after release...

Definitely the ones that come with free metal shavings in the case should be pretty cheap on the secondary market.

Not sure why the 12hr marker is split in two. Looks weird.

I like it a lot. It's a watch I've been wanting Seiko to make for years - a normal sized alternative to the MM300. I wish it was MM300 price though.
And not an LE. It's very attractive at 39.65mm x 14.16mm with an 8L35 and a high dome crystal. I hope it eventually goes into production alongside the MM300.
