Strapcode MM300

Post by jrmartins » Thu Nov 24, 2016 3:01 am

I thought this might interest those with an MM300.

It would be nice if they had photos of it mounted to the actual watch.

It doesn't seem to be an improvement over the standard one though.

Looks nice. I bet it wears better with the shorter links. Price is good too!

I like it. It's not stupidly thin. They should have set it up to use the eom clasp.

That's the first thing I noticed. I guess they don't own a MM. I'd be worried about fitment.

Looks pretty decent. I have just heard mixed reviews regarding strapcode bracelets. Sometimes fat bars won't work and sometimes they will. Also some issues with the link screws. I have emailed them 3 times about an issue and I have yet to hear back from them. So I have doubts about spending more money with them.

Bought a mesh bracelet from them some years back. The bracelet had a clear manufacturing defect where the spring bars attach to the case - one side of the bracelet didn't have a cut out for the spring bar tool to remove the spring bar.

Messaged them and they told me that's how they are made and I could return the bracelet on my dime to China or keep it.

Chose the latter. A dremel cut later and it worked but that left me with a bad taste.

Their bracelets are good quality for the most part and they now ship a lot of their inventory from the States but due to my experience and other stories I've read - they're never my first choice

Lame because the bracelet itself look good. The shitty 7th grade machine shop end links are beyond horrid though.

Endlinks are terrible. Bracelet itself looks great. That being said, I was very happy with the Strapcode bracelet I had on my 009.

It definitely must be hit or miss because they won't fix a bracelet I have. :crybaby:

That endlink looks like someone forgot to finish the design and they just threw a blank on the bracelet!!

Damn, too bad about those end links. I loved the MM300 but sold it because I found the bracelet and clasp uncomfortable. I've had good luck with Strapcode bracelets in the past.

A crappy no end link Tudor style set up would have been preferable to that. Shit, why not just use the stock end links and fabricate a bracelet that doesn't suck ass?

Funny, someone on WUS said they asked strapcode a week before this bracelet was released if they would ever come out with one, they said "never". I can see why
