You probably could. I am not sure how it would look with a brushed/polished case like the Mm has. But it might look pretty slick. I like how the stock insert can turn gray in certain lights, so I am not sure it I would want to loose that with a blast job. But good idea.
I was just thinking that it might be an option for someone with an older version with a scratched bezel. I believe they have a clear lacquer on the bezel, which could possibly be lightly blasted to give it a satin finish. I actually enjoyed the gloss look when I had one.
