Have you considered the Omega Aqua Terra with grey teak dial, or are you sold on a GS?

I've been wanting one as well. Love the blue GMT hand.
BTW I can say the GS I own may be among the most beautiful I've ever handled.
I'm def a GS convert...

That GS looks too much like the Omega that Andrew posted. GS has a few iconic references, I'd stick to those.

Not sold yet.. Never owned a GS...Looking for a GMT watch---more and more people rave about the GS's...
Re: Hi Beat Grand Seiko's
I have never owned a GS.... But have always admired the clean looks of the cases and dials of most I've seen.
The movement is killer...something a bit under the radar...I say go for it

Yes--tied on the blue version several times but couldn't get by the short GMT hand

adjusted 6 positions and supposedly at the level of JLC, etc...
Re: Hi Beat Grand Seiko's
Never owned one, but the J001 has been on my list forever. These are so underrated.

001 for sure

I really like the hi-beat Grand Seikos, and find the smoothness of the sweep at that rate to be mesmerizing. It practically glides along. My only complaint with the new versions is that they do not have lume on the hands.
There are some pretty good buys of the old 614x and 615x series watches, too, all of which have 36,000bph movements.

Re: Hi Beat Grand Seiko's
That white dialed GS gmt is the one I have been lusting over for a while now.
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.
Re: Hi Beat Grand Seiko's
Been thinking about flipping the Milgauss GV for an SBGE001 myself. I say go for it!
Re: Hi Beat Grand Seiko's
I owned the same in white dial. Was beautiful but the bracelet wasn't the best on this one IMHO. Gotta get into the upper-end GS for the 5 piece bracelets. I do love the Ti SBGA081 a lot though!
