Did anyone else notice how nice these look as Seiko catalog shots which typically look like shit? That blue on the 773 looks great! I'm excited for these!

Yeah, I've got to have the 777. I'm hoping it's getting a high quality strap like the newest Prospex releases.

Still $500. No thanks. I'd rather get my SARB017 back at $330 from Chino

I wonder if these will be released in the USDM? Maybe a group buy from Timeless?

It says "on request" which I think means they'll order one.

Yeah I remember ctgwatch is the same dealer with super high pre-order prices on the SBDX012 and the Sumo LE.

It does look like the new, improved rubber.

Definetely getting 773, always wanted a blue Seiko, will try to source J1 once they're out.

Jeff, since you're the Emperor Tuna of TDWC :) you probably already know when they'll be available?

Edit: wait I think I want 787 BLNR instead J1 please :)

Yeah, for $350 or more I'd rather have another $150 007.

I think the price will stay higher at first because of demand, as there is always the ones who have to have it first. I can wait until prices drop, as you know they will.

This release is a brilliant move by Seiko.

Now we need a new 62MAS?

Aren't the retail prices on Monsters and SKXs in the $400 range?

And 6105. The 6217 they'd have to upsize, and something always seems to get lost in translation when that happens. Plus I think that LE Sumo was a half hearted effort at a 6217 homage.

What is the MSRP on a $150 007?

Good question - creationwatches lists it as $360 and Amazon says $425. So somewhere in that neighborhood.

I think Seiko Gold accents are used redundantly now. They still look good though.

I am honestly excited about these. Really excited. To use a recent example; semi-erect (not the soft boner some of you have, yet not fully aroused).

I am still at the flaccid stage with these, they'll probably end up being too big for me.
Don't be so sure. I think you can handle the size. Sure, it may make you a little sore at first, bit once you get used to larger ones you'll wonder why you didn't try them sooner.

Just take a deep breath and relax. Works every time.

You will probably be fine. The 6309 is the only 44mm (or larger) diver I can wear.
