I'm digging these.

Well there goes my money for the lastest rally diver re-issue
I'm all in on the classic black or Pepsi (or is it coke?)... Either way take my money.
With the 4r36 this may be an instant classic to take the SKX throne. IMHO, overdue...

Are there any pricing rumors?
If you put a large switch in some cave somewhere, with a sign on it saying 'End-of-the-World Switch. PLEASE DO NOT TOUCH', the paint wouldn't even have time to dry.

I think we'll have a good indication once the prices on these come out in December: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/f ... 70&t=47377Henryj wrote:Are there any pricing rumors?
With the 4r36 it would have to be <$350 otherwise we're in 6r15 territory.

New monsters us this movement, so I would expect pricing a bit higher than the Monsters.sierra11b wrote:I think we'll have a good indication once the prices on these come out in December: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/f ... 70&t=47377Henryj wrote:Are there any pricing rumors?

Re: New Prospex divers to be released in 2016...
Would be nice if they maybe made two versions, one with the regular movement and one with the higher end 6r movement.
Re: New Prospex divers to be released in 2016...
It won't happen, but I agree; a 4s / Hardlex and a 6r / sapphire would be nice options.
Re: New Prospex divers to be released in 2016...
I am sooo in.
Too bad they're not coming out this May....cuz I have enough funds right now.

It is stupid..but hey...they're trying to stay true to the original...and Yeh...I'm just making shit up.JBZ wrote:I think they look great, but can someone please explain to me why Seiko insists on putting the second hand lume pip at the wrong end of the hand on many of their models? It's stupid.
I'm so excited, I don't even care about the meatball =)

I love these. I still have a 6309 that I love to wear.

Put that shit under the mattress dude. Or bury it in a mason jar in the backyard. Hillbilly savings and loan.

If it comes at about $350, it's a coin toss between one of those and rehabbing my 6309.sierra11b wrote:I think we'll have a good indication once the prices on these come out in December: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/f ... 70&t=47377Henryj wrote:Are there any pricing rumors?

^ Yea as much as I think they would be great, I can't help but be a bit suspicious about the shady pics, and total lack of other information.
Hope it is legit

Then again it could be marketing genius from Seiko. Leak just enough, shady pictures included, and sit back and view the watch frenzy it created. Then sell millions in the spring when released.
Re: New Prospex divers to be released in 2016...
Seems like a pretty involved prank to pull. It would take someone like me hours but maybe someone else minutes. Pretty clever of a prankster to do a BLNR colored bezel. I don't think I'd be smart enough to hodgepodge or even think about that color scheme on a 6309, but it makes total sense Seiko would release one. I'm not buying it.
There may be a way to at least try remain hopeful. I lack the technology but maybe this guy could do the same for all the latest Tunas when the catalog was first released? Unless the rally diver re-issues are fake as well, they share the same style hands so there may be hope in that Seiko is using the 6309 style hand for the 4r36: http://www.thedivewatchconnection.com/f ... 70&t=47377
I sincerely hope it's legit... It's not very often my wife peeks over my shoulder, asks if there's a blue version, then tells me to buy it asap.
