Oh no, it came with full seiko box/papers/tags but was then packed in a shoebox.

Yep, full box and papers were in the shoe box, no complaints really, was just kinda funny that's all.

Grey was my next choice, I think light grey will look good in the summer, need to pick which grey

Fuck you Art.

I'm trying damn hard not to go and buy a blue one. And you keep posting photos. Jerk.

Sears is sold out if the black one but has the black/gold though no longer on sale. :(

If I don't like mine or it's too big, I'll happily put it it up FS here instead of returning it to the store. :)

It really is a full size watch, vintage done right in my book :)
I'm happy though but it's bigger than SKX, Shogun, Sumo...

Lume is nice, came out a little whiter in this pic but it's bright.

Ok, one more pic in case anyone is still on the fence about the blue one :)

I don't think it wears bigger than the Sumo or Shogun. Wears like the Tsunami, as I think was mentioned earlier. I will rock it on BOR once end links are available.

No it wears fine, I have no discomfort, but shogun in particular felt smaller and definitely lighter due to Ti. Shogun on NATO I almost forgot I had a watch on. Now I want to see Coke and BLNR models. Still not a 100% on the gold one.

It wears better than the Tsunami because it doesn't have the thick case back that makes the Tsunami 300m WR.

My B/G lands Friday. Not sure it was the correct call but blue will follow shortly. Anyone considering swapping out the crystal for sapphire?

Brice I really don't think you'll find it too big. The LTL is short. I had the same concern, but it wears really well.

I've actually come to like hardlex. I guess once I put a nasty scratch in one that'll change, and at that point I'd probably change it to sapphire.

Are you talking about Harold's BOR? If so, he'll have end links available in no time.

I'm confused. Is this watch bigger than the 6309 7040/49 case?

Somewhat, yes. It's less than 1mm wider and a couple mms longer LTL, but yet to me they wear pretty much the same. There are some comparison pics in this review:

Slightly. One of the reviews linked earlier compared them. It is maybe 1 mm wider, and the lugs are slightly longer to accommodate the drilled holes, making it curve toward the wrist a little less.

If not buy a regular 6309 endlinks and I trim them to fit for you. For no charge of course.

Sounds like what I used to do. The first time I sold a watch, I sent it in a Skechers box with a Spanish newspaper.
I am yet to buy bubblewrap for the first time - there's just so much lying around from all the watches I keep on buying.
I think I shipped a watch one time in a hello kitty box with hello kitty socks as packaging.

I hope they were "used" socks.
