I don't think there are any links since it's not available yet. You can contact my guy at Tokeikan at tokeikan@shop.rakuten.co.jp. He'll send you a quote with shipping and if you want it he'll send an invoice a couple days before the release date.

I know! I actually thought it was out already. But this is a good thing. Gives me time to get things in order. I still want to know the size but given all the positive talk about the new models, this might be a go.

It's released 8/8. It's BIG! Like 52.4 mm. Same case as the current Emperor. But it's a Tuna so it'll wear smaller. I guess? Still, I don't think 52mm can slim down enough for me.

Please give a review of the SD Tuna. I've come so close to buying one but the finish keeps me from it. If it were a brushed stainless like the 015 or plain jane diashield Ti grey, I'd already own one.

I did a glowing review of the SD Tuna on this forum a few months ago, and then promptly sold it.

Here's the review, but the pics are gone.

I sold it because at the time I was wearing a 40mm Sub and the Tuna felt too big, but now that I'm used to bigger watches it's fine. The finish is incredible, but it does have some shiny surfaces that aren't characteristic of the classic Tunas. The brushed shroud is amazing, and the gliding second hand is beautiful to watch. Here are some pics I just took in different lighting. Sorry, I'm a terrible photographer. There are much better pics online.

That's an awesome watch Jeff! How much bigger does it wear compared to the Darth?

Thanks! They're nearly identical in size. I think the SD is 1mm wider at the base. It's 1mm thicker than the Darth but wears much flatter because of the cutout in the shroud.

I bought this now because the replacement (SBDB013) is selling for about $400 higher. And I prefer the expiring model because it still has the milled S crown, the new one will have the etched X.

It definitely looks smaller and you're right, it's the black. Black is slimming, everyone know that :D

Seriously, they both look great. I hated the new handset at first, but having seen it in a lot of photos by folks here now, I've come to be OK with it. Not sure I like it, but it's definitely growing on me.

The new hands are much more legible FWIW.

I can see that. They're certainly more distinct.

I got to try on an 035 for a little while yesterday and will echo what Seppia said. The black does wear smaller and while I originally didn't care for the hands at all, both those and the markers are quickly growing on me. So much so I may try to pick up a blue variant. The lume is NUCLEAR! I mean, like can't believe how bright it is nuclear. Color me impressed. Oh, and the new rubber completely trumps the old stuff. Very soft and comfortable.
