Correct, it's a very deep blue. It can look black at an angle.

Thanks, I like it a lot. This is the blue color that I prefer with blue dials. Subtle. I like the polished bezel insert, I think it works well with the blue color. I would have preferred a raised indices look, but it's not that big a deal in person. The lume on the 015 is killer. The lume on the 037 is even better. The rubber is the softest Seiko strap I have ever handled :gayumbrella: Overall, very impressed

I think I'm ready to bite the bullet and order one of these, probably the 035. I was leaning towards the 029, but I stopped by the Seiko boutique today and tried on the current Darth, and I didn't like how it sat on my wrist.

They really nailed the blue on this one.

The polished insert was a pleasant surprise. It didn't show in pictures. I too would've preferred the look of raised indices but the glow of this new lume makes me forget about that.

Also wasn't feeling the multi level dial in pictures but in person it's very subtle - due in part Im sure to the dark blue

Got this mesh on the way for it as another bracelet option.

I'm not going to look at this thread any more - you guys with the blue tunas are going to push me over the edge, and I really don't need 3 Tunas!

The 035 on Isofrane is the business. Had it on the Seiko rubber and it just didn't look right on my sub-7" wrist. All is well now with the Iso. I'll post some pics this weekend.

I'm looking forward to your pics. I've been thinking about ordering a blue and black ISO.

Wow this thread is rabid. I'm glad I really like my 017. I can't afford one of these right now.

Is the 37 a lot nicer in person. I tried on a 15 yesterday, and while it was pretty nice, it was a little meh. It felt like it needed some freshening up.

Seeing as I spoke about wanting a blue Tuna back in May before these were even a possibility made me jump on one immediately regardless of already having a 017.

The 037 really does look nicer in person. I'll be the first to admit that once the live pictures came about and I saw the multi level dial, shade of blue, and what looked like printed indices I was very underwhelmed and almost instantly regretted buying it.

In person though you see that the blue is the perfect shade, the bezel is a polished blue that changes from blue to black dependent on the light, the multi level dial is very subtle and the indices don't look bad and glow brighter than any watch I've had.

Ultimately, black dive watches to me are "meh" for the most part so naturally I preferred the 037 over the 017 or 015 or all the other Tunas.

In a nutshell, yup it's nicer in person.

I already ordered an SBDX014 but am now leaning toward the SBDB009. Been going back and forth every day. Hmmm.

That's the 014, and that's the one I already pre-ordered. But that spring drive movement is making me think twice.

Surprisingly minimal, about $200.
