SBEX001 & SBDX014 pics are up
Not feeling the SBEX001 whatsoever but the SBDX014 has that VERY cool titanium grey warmth to it which reminds me of the Ti shrouds gonzo just posted! It's probably just the lighting.

Here are a couple more Tunas. Kind of like the Darth looking one on the left.

Yeah, I'm going with meh also.
You give respect, you'll get respect - you just don't know your place.

Where did you find this and are there any more pics? And any information on specs?

In this WUS post

I didn't see specs, I didn't even have time to read the thread, but if I had to guess I'd say the 2 quartz ones are Darth sized.

Those tuna pics were yanked from the WUS post. Guess we weren't supposed to see them.jswing wrote:In this WUS post

I didn't see specs, I didn't even have time to read the thread, but if I had to guess I'd say the 2 quartz ones are Darth sized, and the auto on the right is Emperor sized. I actually like the SBEX001, except for the size.

Strange.
Did tiagu post them?
Why on earth would they be restricted when they're public?

No idea but yes, he's the one that posted them. A few minutes later the pics were gone and his post said restricted.sierra11b wrote:jswing wrote:Those tuna pics were yanked from the WUS post. Guess we weren't supposed to see them.jswing wrote:In this WUS post

Re: SBEX001 & SBDX014 pics are up
I guess I'm relegated to the cheap Seikos until they start screwing them up. I'm not feeling the stupid thickness of the new Tuna. Good thing I haven't seen anything screwy in the Presage and the new Alpinist style watches. I've determined the Sumo is for sure too big to me. It looks like if I buy a brand new model of Seiko over $200 it won't be a diver.

I just noticed the SBEX001 doesn't have an applied logo. For $5k+ I want an applied logo.

Re: SBEX001 & SBDX014 pics are up
Here are the official specs from Seiko for the SBDX014 and SBEX001. Unfortunately, the specs I got earlier for the 001 are correct, it's a monster. Surprisingly, the 14 isn't as big as I thought, actually smaller in diameter than the Darth Tuna, although a bit thicker.

Re: SBEX001 & SBDX014 pics are up
Pretty cool that they physically took the SBDX014 down to 3000m and it survived. How modest of Seiko to put 1000m on the dial.
Re: SBEX001 & SBDX014 pics are up
I will be passing on the SBEX001.

Live pics on what I assume is a very small wrist.

Not sure, haven't seen anything on it yet aside from this pic. I'd like the SBBN027 too if not for the glossy shroud.amuro wrote:Which model is the first one, SBBN025?jswing wrote:Here are a couple more Tunas. Kind of like the Darth looking one on the left.

Here are a couple more tunas. All are titanium. Two have cermet shrouds, I don't know what cermet is.

Probably the screws are to hold the bezel on, similar to the SD600 titanium.

I'm guessing "Cermet" is some ceramic-metal hybrid.
None of the Seikos in this thread interest me in the least. Big fail IMO.
I'd like to see a 6105 or 6309 re-issue; give it sapphire, 6R15, and historic styling cues. Price it under a grand ($750-ish) and it would fly off shelves.
