This shows what a nice job seiko did with the SBDX012, not to mention how nice the 6159-7000 is.

The 4 lines of script at 6 o'clock always bugged me. I mean, why stop at 4? Seiko should have gone for 5 or 6.

The SBDX003 was just right:

^^^Nice but you have to realize they did copy the same amount of lines of script as on the og version. Just the og version had three rows up top. Hahahaha

I would be proud to snort blow off all of those watches.

I would've liked the 012 dial to match the 003... for me, the less text the better, but I'll get over it ;)

It's amazing how close they stayed to the original. Why mess with a good thing I guess!

I wouldn't mind an extra line of text on the SBDX012 if it said hi-beat.

I'm with you. Wish it had a hi-beat movement.

Yup. I'm wondering if it's possible to swap out the 8L35 with a hi-beat?

Buy one of each. Send to Carlo for dial swap. Sell the other. Done.

Seiko learned from the best - although Rolex has far more words and adjectives.

I notice that both stems are unscrewed. Is there an advantage to storing a watch with the stem unscrewed? Both watches, by the way, are striking regardless of the lines of lettering.

Well, if you want the hands to be (and stay) in the same spot for taking a set of photographs, there is a great advantage in unscrewing the crown
