I like it. Will these be available at the typical huge Seiko discounts?

^^^Well they are on pre-order at AZ Fine Time for $521 right now. It isn't a limited edition watch, just a standard prospex.

I'm not sure about this one quite yet, but I'm coming around on them finally. Really disliked it when they were first announced

I'm not 100% sold on it, since it's probably too big for me, but it looks like a nice effort. The clasp looks fairly svelte and the bracelet appears to allow for all links to be removed. Does anyone know the lug to lug on this? I'm reading the blog reviews now, but not surprisingly they don't bother to mention it.

I wish the new automatic 200m Prospex diver didn't have the Stargate bezel. I'm not sure why Seiko thinks people want that.

I saw that. Standard seiko discounts should make it much less than that though.

I think it's pretty cool. Although, I have zero experience with Kinetic.

I think it has the same style bezel as a regular Tuna but I might be wrong.

The watch is 50mm lug 2 lug and 47.5 width. I don't know how tall it is but it looks like 17mm in the pics. The clasp looks like the style clasp as the Seiko Prospex SBCM023.

Yes, I too am eagerly awaiting these.

I'm Tuna-less right now (gasp) and think this may fill that gap nicely.

I think the yellow version with the stainless shroud is my favorite. At least for this week.

I've seen a few posts from people who wanted this to be a cheaper Tuna substitute. Almost all of them have said it's a nice upgrade from a Monster, but a large downgrade from a Tuna. The finishing looks good to me in pictures, but according to these few guys it doesn't stand up to in-person scrutiny.

It's definitely cool looking in pictures, so worth a look. I was surprised to see a reasonable number of genuine Seiko fans saying it was disappointing in person.

I think it will look great on an isofrane. I know I say that too often, but it's true.

Price wise this watch is quite a but under the Tuna so that is why I wouldn't expect it to be the same quality as it. But at 50mm I can't pull this watch off so I will have to pass on it.

50mm? I didn't think it was that big. Are you sure?

47.5mm is what I've heard. It looks huge.

48mm case but 50mm lug to lug around 17mm tall, past the limit for me.

50mm lug to lug is nothing.

actually I lied it is 15mm tall but wears wider than the Tuna's normally do, more like the Sawtooth but a little wider.
