Shogun Accuracy

Post by marchone » Fri Mar 14, 2014 7:23 am

A quick report to say the Shogun I got through dshap and jtbenson is running 2-3 sec fast per day on the wrist. Set overnight on its crown brings it back to 0 in the morning. Fantastic performance from the 6R15 movement.

My two 6R15s run similar. My Sumo gains about 3-4 seconds a week and if I leave it crown up overnight once a week it'll lose 3-4 seconds that night. Actually I've never had a 6R15 that gained more than 5 seconds a day and I've had 6-7 now. Love this movement.

That's very good. Wish mine ran so well. I've never had a Seiko do better than +15 or more.

Shogun & 6r15 are both winners.

The 6309 I picked up from Benny is also doing pretty well. While I generally don't time my stuff, it's holding steady with my Omega 8500 PO, so I think it must me doing its job. This 6309 was serviced & adjusted by Jack, so that's likely the reason for its good performance.

No Seiko does that except for the GS line! Oh wait, many of them do so. Love me some Seiko! My MM300 is getting a ton of wear. That shogun is a sweet piece.
