Got my tuna back

Here's the before pics

And now with the new sapphire crystal and bracelet, and a little cleaning

I was told that the watchmaker who worked on it said I need a new crystal gasket and a new crown. I'm not sure why I need a new crown. I could understand needing a new crown gasket, but not a new crown. The one that's on it is in great shape and turns as it should.

I don't think the gaskets can be changed?

Love it all. Not a fan of the bracelet but good thing you're keeping that 7549 going!

Is that why they were saying I need a new crown?

Glad you got it back. Why didn't you get the bezel insert replaced?

I wanted that to stay original. This watch was worn by my dad everyday for the past 30years. The original crystal was way too scratched up and took away from the watch. As for the rest of the scratches and dents and dings I love them. That's the history of my watch!

Thank you all for the words. I just got a crystal gasket and crown tracked down. Taking my watch down to the watchmaker today. I want this baby to have its water resistance again.

Looks killer. Really happy you kept the original bezel insert.
