SBGA023 rubber strap or a Darth Tuna strap

Re: Incoming! Seiko SAGQ005 Diver - 8L35
There is more gap (between case and strap) than I'd like when using Isofrane. Stock straps are usually too short for me, are the ones mentioned longer?toxicavenger wrote:SBGA023 rubber strap or a Darth Tuna strap

Seiko dive straps are generally long. They're also thicker on the spring bar sides because of the huge spring bars Seiko uses on the divers. That usually hides some lug/strap gap.hoppyjr wrote:There is more gap (between case and strap) than I'd like when using Isofrane. Sounds good, thanks. I may try to grab the SBGA029 strap...CesarG wrote:Seiko dive straps are generally long. That's a good-looking strap.hoppyjr wrote:Sounds good, thanks. I may try to grab the SBGA029 strap...CesarG wrote:Seiko dive straps are generally long. Yea Kelly, similar gap with the Iso, but the lugs do curve down really nicely on mine.
It's funny, I'm really not a fan of bracelet watches - ever - but I love the feel of this one. The combination of case shape, bracelet construction and design, makes me a happy camper. I have the MM300 clasp coming and will put it on, then all will be perfect. Everyone knows what a Shogun fanboy I am, but I haven't touched it since this one arrived. The dial and hands, together with killer bezel and case shape, make me all warm & fuszzy every time I look at it. Seriously beautiful in person and I can't capture it in photos. Even prettier than the VAT or my PO 8500.... odd, I know.

Honestly, I can't stand the Sinn rubber strap. Feels like silicone and I'm just not a fan.
......and don't call me baby

I scaled it down when it was hosted on Photobucket. Ever since they shit the bed and resorted to extortion, I've had to put my photos on imgur. Clearly, I need to resize it.

Apparently you can't resize a pic on imgur. Or maybe I don't know how. I had to crop my image then upload again.
