Seiko Military subtle project

Post by carlodwc » Fri Apr 26, 2013 8:39 am

This is a subtle project, meaning I changed little on the watch. Actually I wanted to do something special but ended up not being able to so I ended up doing a couple of small changes, first of all I installed a lumed dial from another model, the DLCed SNZG17 and then installed a red seconds hand from the SARB015, Seiko black Alpinist.

I think it came out all right and even if I don't care about the '5' logo and the "sports" writing on the dial I like the result. I think it changes it enough to make it a different watch from the original SNZG13 basic model.

Sorry for the poor photos and the dust specs, I hope you enjoy them at least a little nevertheless.

Simple, tough, legible — ya nailed the military thing.

Looks good, too.
