What Took Me So Long???
What Took Me So Long???
So some of you sharp guys might have noticed I posted a Tuna SBBN015 MarineMaster in some WRUW threads. Well a while back I finally decided to check one out and ordered from Higuchi. Holy crap this thing is cool. I never thought I liked the "Tuna" styled case design, especially after trying two different Pucks from Halios. But I really like the 015. Size is perfect and the new bracelet that they come on is pretty sweet. The simple, classic Tuna dial with domed crystal is total eye-candy too. Plus, with all of my automatic watches, the quartz movement is a simple grab & go deal with this one.
Like I said, what took me so long. I don't know, but I'm glad I have one in the collection now.
Sorry guys, all I have is a few wrist shots in different lighting for now.
Cheers,
Dave

Looks sweet on that bracelet for some reason...maybe most are on rubber/zulu.
Those are sweet for sure.

That's a nice one Dave, congrats!
Re: What Took Me So Long???
Awesome one... is this the 48mm case? May I ask what's you wrist size... I've always felt the 48 is too big but it looks mighty dandy in your wrist shots...

Re: What Took Me So Long???
Man, the seiko forum is getting some action. The Tuna is 47 or 48mm but really wears like a 42 or 43. The short lugs and light weight make it really comfortable for just about any wrist size. Here's one I had on my 6.75" wrists.
Re: What Took Me So Long???
That Tuna looks great on your wrist Matt... have similar wrists and those pics really open my mind to a possible Tuna in my future..

I'm liking the look of this.
I don't know why. I haven't really been fond of the Tunas but I like the way it looks on that new bracelet.
Nice pick up Demo and thanks for the great pics

Congrats Dave
Even though I own three 1000m Tuna's I really like the 015. IMO it's the best looking Tuna and I will have to add one to my humble collection.
I'm really looking forward to some of your awesome "staged" shots
BTW..yobokies makes a beautiful AR sapphire if you ever decide to swap out the hardlex.
Cheers
