Joe Kirk has left Miami

Post by toxicavenger » Sun Oct 14, 2018 11:20 am

I recently found out Joe is no longer at the Miami boutique. He is working in the Seiko office in NJ helping with GS coming to the US.

He's been gone for a few months. It's official now.

From Miami to Mahwah. Kind of the opposite of Shorty’s journey.

Actually Mahwah isn’t that bad as far as NJ goes.

The guy who basically single handly brought GS's to the US. He was also the guy who could get your watch service in Seiko Japan with no issues.

He was back in the Miami boutique the day I picked up the Ultraman. The new manager came over from Omega, so he was probably training a little, and his fams were still here. I think he’s taking over the NYC Boutique, once relocated.

I was told by the NYC boutique he was not working there. He was going to be working at the corporate office in NJ.

I was at that store 2 weeks ago for the first time from Orlando and it was for sure like a kid in a candy store having all those wonderful watches I have only seen on the internet. But the prices are on average from 800 to 1200 dollars more expensive than buying from a extremely reputable online person like Seiya so I would never use the GS store except for viewing a possible buy. But the people in the store were extremely nice unlike the Rolex store and some of the others so I will give them that.

Probably right, T. I may have misheard what Joe said. Or Seiko corporate may not tell the people in the NYC Boutique that he’s their new boss.
