Nice plus the bezel is in great shape a lot of times the Bakelite on the bezel ring is cracked chipped or gone on this model that one looks perfect.

I’m not an expert but I don’t think that’s a genuine SM300. You’ve owned more than I have so I trust your opinion.

It's the CK14755. Crown is a replacement. Need to source a NIAD eventually. Hands have been relumed.

Other than that, she's as she should be!

Seamaster 300 from 1960-
CK14755 model: recognizable by the "small arrow" minute hand, straight lugs without crown protection, small triangles dial, thin bezel insert missing most of the time. Movements 550 or 552 no date. WR 200m. Bracelet 7912/506, replacement 1035/630

Seamaster 300 from1962-
165.014 is a transitional model with either CK14755 hands or baton hands, but still with straight lugs without crown protection. Dial is either the same as 14755 or straight indexes as next generation. Thin bezel insert missing most of the time. Movement 550 or 552 no date. WR 200m. Bracelet 1035/630

you must have a metal detector to find all these.

I bought a cheap watch from a crazy man
Floating down canal
It doesn't use numbers or moving hands
It always just says now
Now you may be thinking that I was had
But this watch is never wrong

Nice! And that'd be my birth year watch I've never been able to find. Yes, I'm THAT old.
