Look what happened to my Eterna Kontiki Super bracelet

Post by River Rat » Sat Sep 08, 2018 4:21 pm

Well my clasp on my Eterna Kontiki Super IDF broke again. The clip that locks the clasp in place was not working great it would unsnap every now and then. Then the clip just snapped off.

Here is a photo of my first repair on the clasp years ago some of you mite remember were I had it laser welded were the hinge snap.

Another time the spring inside the clasp that adjust the clasp for a perfect fit broke I was lucky there were Mike our doxa collector told me of a eBay seller and I fixed that. Well I looked on Ebay for a NSA clasp the same seller had the part. was not cheap 99 bucks I just used the hinge part and kept the Eterna Logo part of the old clasp to keep it original.

I think the bracelet adds value more to the watch plus I like the bracelet I guess money well spent.

I’ve always thought that part could snap off, but I’ve never had it happen.

That is just terrible. You should send me the watch so you don't feel frustrated by it anymore.
