Swiss made Divers Watch

Post by Badhabits » Fri Jun 15, 2018 8:42 am

Hi everybody!

I am new here and would have a question about this diver's watch.
Unfortunately, neither a manufacturer nor a model name can be found.
I see 20ATM and Swiss made on the dial. It's a automatic movement and the crown is screwed.

Anyone know this watch (left one with the blue strap)? Thanks for your support.

Welcome OP. Thanks Jason.

Judging by the case style, I would think that your watch dates to the late 1960's/early '70's. Many manufacturers, both well known and not, used this type of lugless case with a large screw down crown during this time period. Most were rated at 20 ATM water resistance. Although it's not uncommon to find a diver such as yours that was produced by an obscure brand, what is uncommon is that there is no branding at all. Many retailers at the time sold private label watches with their names on the dials, such as Zales (Baylor) and Bucherer, to name a couple. Yours may fall into this category, however, the sterile dial would be unusual. Have you opened the watch? If not, my guess is that there may be something stamped on the inside of the case back, or less likely, on the self winding rotor. Otherwise, it may be nearly impossible to pin down the manufacturer.

Stop picking on him. He has two Omega to sell and needs to get access to the sales forum.
