Dayum - those are nice. I’ve always liked the Heuer GMTs. My guess is this took awhile and a few were picked up before prices took off like Tesla rocket. Heuer prices are insane.

Prices on these are crazy. I'll take anyone of them. 14 would be a bit redundant.

Before I moved out of Calif I went to a NAWCC regional in Pasadena I bought a vintage Omega Speedmaster from 1972. Then saw a seller with a Heuer Bund, then another with 4-6 just about as mint as you could get vintage Heuer chronographs like the ones in that photo but I was short on money or to cheap the prices were way better 5-6 years ago I can kick my self in the head for not picking up just one. I all ways told you flippers to hold on to your vintage watches because most are out of reach for us now glad I kept most of mine. I did get a Heuer Bund and that has doubled in price since I got it.

Very nice. Selling my 2446 was one of my worst ever watch decisions

I regret two vintage watch sales - my Heuer Autavia 1163MH and my Doxa Sub 300 Pro. Both dumb moves in retrospect.

Ain’t that the truth. Sold a Viceroy and a Bund. The Bund was sweet - all original. Stupid stupid stupid.

Now I’m Heuer-less and the prices have gotten to the point where I’m out probably.

Rising Heuer prices have been a blessing and a curse. I still have a bunch of them, but I never wear them out the house. It's a shame, I used to wear the hell out of them, but now they are treated with kid gloves, relegated to being watch box queens.

On the upside, my daily wearers are my Speedy and my newly acquired watchco SM300 - I know I can wear the f**k out of them, and still gets parts if they ever need it.

Speaking of vintage watch prices, check out some of the stuff currently for sale at Analog Shift. I haven't looked there in a while - absolutely insane prices on some of these watches. I can't see ever spending $12K on a Speedmaster, no matter what year it was made.

https://shop.analogshift.com/collections/watches

About the only thing I can afford there is the Redbar poster for $55

I remember selling a Heuer Silverstone for £2500.. I took a '69 Speedy + £1k as a trade, and I thought I was being generous!

Look at the price he wants for a Omega 53 thin arrow close to 9 grand
https://shop.analogshift.com/collection ... thin-arrow
I got a Omega 53 fat arrow a few years ago for 1700 it does have that mod replacement fat arrow dial but all most 9 grand for that just for the difference in a dial hell no.

I wear mine a few of mine are in the high value category what's the point having them. When I worked since I was on a tree crew doing heavy labor they stayed home safe and sound but since retiring they get a lot of wrist time. Get some guts and enjoy them once in a while.

To me there to be worn. Or what's the point in owning them I never bought mine as a investment. Like my Heuer Bund I got for 1800 I never thought the model I got would be worth 4700 bucks today or my Tudor Snowflake I got for 2000 would be worth 5000 and the Hanhart 417 would also double in price and a lot of others. But I don't let it stop me from wearing them in fact I wear them more now since I am now retired. If I stop enjoying them by not wearing them then it's time to sell them because your treating them as a investment.
And my pile there's more and I wear them all.
